Applied Behavior Analysis 2nd Ed Cooper

Applied Behavior Analysis (2nd Edition) by John O. Cooper

"Applied Behavior Analysis" provides a complete description of the principles and procedures needed to systematically change socially significant behavior and to understand the reasons for that change. This comprehensive text, appropriate for courses in basic principles, applications, and behavioral research methods, helps students, educators, and practitioners appreciate and begin to acquire the conceptual and technical skills necessary to foster socially adaptive behavior in diverse individuals.

This book lays out the scope of Applied Behavior Analysis in a concise manner. A must read for all exceptional education teachers and those treating children with Autism.

The text was dry, technical, but gave ample examples throughout. The chapters connected concepts throughout to allow for more concrete understanding. Highly recommend for anyone working with children in fields of psychology, behavior, education, etc.

This book is dry, but extremely informative. There is a reason that this is the standard text. It is well-written, well-edited, and gives clear explanations of the full range of topics requied to have a deep theoretical understanding of ABA.
